The Georgia Addiction Counselors Association awarded Reese Daniel, CEO of Twin Lakes Recovery Center, of Summit BHC, the 2015 Humanitarian Award for his work in the field of addiction treatment and recovery.
ATLANTA, GA, October 29, 2015 (Newswire.com) - The Georgia Addiction Counselors Association awarded Reese Daniel, CEO of Twin Lakes Recovery Center (Twin Lakes) of Summit BHC, the 2015 Humanitarian Award for his work in the field of addiction treatment and recovery. The Bernard Carter Humanitarian Award is presented annually by the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association (GACA) to an addiction professional, based on their outstanding contributions to the advancement of the profession of addiction counseling.
Mr. Daniel, born and raised in Brunswick, Georgia, has dedicated his more than 30-year career to helping people overcome addiction. "I was completely taken aback when they announced my name,” says Mr. Daniel. “It was a very emotional moment. I am deeply honored by the selection and to have my name associated with Bernard Carter.”
